How to get your website seen on Google

For all businesses now living in this digital world, having a website is a must. However, getting your website seen and noticed on search engines, such as Google, isn’t as straight forward.

Here are our 5 top tips on how to get your website noticed:

1. Create a blog section

Continuously updating your website through a strategy such as blog writing, will help to get your website noticed. Having these extra pages is an opportunity to use more keywords throughout your site. But remember… quality over quantity. Google ranks your blog post by the number of people that visits it, not just the number of keywords.

2. Reviews

Utilise Google reviews. The more reviews your website has, and the better they are, the more likely your site is going to get seen. To do this, encourage satisfied customers to leave your business a review. The more the better.

Tip- Make sure you respond to all review, both positive and negative.

3. Utilise social media

One of the easiest ways to get your website noticed is to post on social media. To do this use your call to action on your post to direct your audience to a certain area of your site.

4. Think about your page titles

When it comes to your page titles, you want both Google and searchers to find them. Make sure you are using keywords that explain the page content but also grab peoples attention. This way more people are likely to click onto your site.

5. Images are key

You will be surprised, people use Google images a lot to search for things. Utilise this by including high quality images of your products and services on your website. But don’t forget to choose an appropriate file name and add a caption to describe the image.
