About National Refuse Championships
The National Refuse Championships is an annual celebration of the people who collect our waste and recycling. It’s an opportunity for these men and women, to meet and compete with colleagues from all across the UK in a test of strength and stamina, to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society.
Website design
Areca Design created a clean and simple WordPress website for NRC to aid their promotion of the annual event to accompany the graphic design and print work that Areca Design produce for the event. Areca Design work closely with the NRC team to maintain the site and build up support prior to the event and show the success after the event to showcase the sponsors and the participants.

Areca Design was commissioned to provide the branding, and marketing collateral for the National Refuse Championships, an annual celebration of the people who collect our waste and recycling. It’s an opportunity for these men and women, to meet and compete with colleagues from all across the UK in a test of strength and stamina. It gives us the chance to show our appreciation for the important work they do and raises money for The Alzheimer’s Society. Areca created all the material for the day which included leaflets and logos and brochures.
