About Red House Glass Cone
Lying in the heart of the Stourbridge glassmaking industry, the Red House Glass Cone was built at the end of the 18th century and continued to produce glasswares until 1936.
Now a museum, it is the only complete glass cone in the area and one of only four left in the United Kingdom. The Red House Glass Cone is situated in the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter and next to the Stourbridge Canal.
App development
A recent commission to develop an engaging interpretation experience for visitors to the Red House Glass Cone museum complex.
This project consists of the design and installation of 10 A1 interpretation panels around the museum site. Each sign then comes to life when you point your mobile device at the graphic images using a cutting-edge Augmented Reality App, an area in which Areca Design has been specialising in for six years.
The Red House Glass Cone project requires Areca Design to supply; graphic design, 3D modelling, green screen filming, drone filming, App development, brochure design and print, ongoing App maintenance.
